Dr Kirstie Rees is a child and educational psychologist, with 14 years' experience in local authorities and over five years' experience as Depute Principal Educational Psychologist. Kirstie works as a consultant psychologist for the charity Cerebral Palsy Scotland, where she provides consultation to the therapy team and carries out webinars and training. She has also developed, implemented and evaluated the 'Cerebral Palsy Circles Parenting Programme'. Kirstie provides individual and group work, and is trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and assessment methods including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused approaches and mindfulness and mentalisation.
