David Olatunde Olukanni is a Professor of Civil Engineering whose special interest is Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. His focus is on Waste Management, Material and Resource Recovery and its Sustainable Application, Life Cycle Assessment, Environmental Sustainability, Circular Economy, Waste to Energy, and Wastewater Treatment Systems.Oluseyi Olanrewaju Ajayi is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Covenant University, Nigeria, and a renowned scholar in renewable energy systems and thermo-fluids. He obtained his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1999, an M.Eng. in Production Technology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2004, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Energy Systems and Renewable Energy) from Covenant University in 2011. A Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Tennessee Technological University, USA (2019–2020), Professor Ajayi has made significant contributions to sustainable energy research, particularly in low-carbon development, wind energy optimization, nanolubricants, and heat transfer enhancement.Joshua Olusegun Okeniyi is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He has 20 years of university teaching and research experience that cut across several universities in Africa. He has consistently maintained ranking as a top researcher in corrosion inhibition of steel-reinforcement in concrete, attaining No 1 globally for the past 11 years (since 2014), by SciVal and has been ranked consistently for the past six years (since 2020) in the top 2% researcher in the world by Stanford/Elsevier metrics. Rising through the ranks to a full Professorship at Covenant University, Joshua Olusegun Okeniyi completed two awards of National Research Foundation – The World Academy of Sciences (NRF-TWAS) postdoctoral fellowships at universities in South Africa (Tshwane University of Technology, and the University of Johannesburg). He also got appointed Professor Extraordinarius at University of South Africa. He is, presently the Director of Research, Innovation, Consultancy and Extension/International Relation Affairs (RICE/IRA) at Kampala International University, Kampala, Uganda.Shalom Nwodo Chinedu is a Professor of Biochemistry and Head of the Department of Biochemistry at Covenant University, Nigeria. He began his academic career in 1992 at Enugu State University of Science and Technology and joined Covenant University in 2006, rising through the ranks to full Professor in 2014.Obinna Chukwuemeka Nwinyi is a Professor of Microbiology and Head of the Department of Biological Sciences at Covenant University, Nigeria. A distinguished researcher with 19 years of teaching and research experience across Africa and the United States, he has published over 100 journal articles and authored more than 260 bacterial and fungal genomic sequences in the U.S. National Centre for Biotechnology Information database.Oluranti Agboola obtained both his Masters’ degree and PhD in chemical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. Following the completion of her PhD, she joined the University of South Africa as a postdoctoral fellow and worked on the fabrication of polypropylene nanocomposite membranes for the treatment of wastewater using melt extrusion method. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Covenant University.Kehinde David Oyeyemi is a senior faculty member at Covenant University, Nigeria. He bagged a B.Sc., M.Sc. and a PhD in Applied Geophysics from the University of Calabar, University of Ibadan, and Covenant University, respectively. His research focuses on bringing solutions to challenges facing sustainable energy, water and the environment.Joseph Osekhoghene Dirisu is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Covenant University, Nigeria, and a COREN-registered engineer (R40,254). He obtained his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2020 and has over nine years of teaching experience in Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, and Research Methodology.
