"Libraries supporting schools with active theoretical physics and philosophy of science departments will want this text on their shelves, as there are no comparable works. Summing Up: Recommended." – CHOICE"This book presents a snapshot of an interesting research program in progress. The case studies isolate philosophically relevant features of string theory, and I found them informative and thought-provoking. I would recommend it to any philosopher of physics with an interest in current philosophical debates about quantum theories of gravity." – Notre Dame Philosophical Reviews
