Neil Murray is Professor of Applied Linguistics and an internationally recognised authority on English language policy and academic literacy in higher education. He has written numerous articles, books, reference works, and academic skills textbooks on related subjects. He is the author of Standards of English in Higher Education (Cambridge University Press).
