Elves and the Shoemaker

Listen and read along to the classic tale of the Elves and the Shoemaker. A poor shoemaker awakes one morning to find that his shoes have already been made for him. Over time he finds that kind elves are visiting his workshop in the night, stitching his shoes for him, and reversing his fortunes. How will the shoemaker and his wife repay the kindness of the elves?

Read Along With Me Books are designed for children ages 3 to 6 to encourage independent reading in young children. Each book has a QR code inside the front cover. Parents or caregivers can scan the code using a smart device to start an audio recording of the story. Recordings are also available via the Read Along With Me podcast on Spotify enabling parents to either make a bedtime playlist of stories and lullabies, or, to download stories for car or plane journeys.
