The aim of this book is to familiarize the reader with the concept of electromagnetic time reversal, and introduce up-to-date applications of the concept found in the areas of electromagnetic compatibility and power systems. It is original in its approach to describing propagation and transient issues in power networks and power line communication, and is the result of the three main editors' pioneering research in the area.

He is also Editor-in-Chief of The Open Atmospheric Science Journal. He is the author of over 170 scientific publications in reviewed journals and international conferences, and is a Fellow of the IEEE.Mario Paolone, Associate Professor and head of the Distributed Energy Systems Laboratory of EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), Lausanne, SwitzerlandMario Paolone received the PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2002. In 2020 he received Associate Professor eligibility from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. In 2013 he was the recipient of the IEEE EMC Society Technical Achievement Award, and he is currently Editor-in-Chief of the journal Sustainable Energy, Grids and Networks.
