Prof. (Dr.) J.P.Varshney, Former Principal Scientist (Veterinary Medicine, ICAR-IVRI, Izarnagar) , with avast clinical, research and teaching experience of more than 57 years is still continuing his dedicated yeoman clinical services at Nandini Veterinary Hospital, Surat (Gujarat) . His work in animal electrocardiography and cardiology is well recognized and earned him reputation. He has been bestowed with Dr. K.S. Nair Memorial Gold Medal—1990, Dr. C.G.Bhaskar Gold Medal—1996, Ram Lal Agrawal Gold Medal—1997, Award of Merit-2001 (ICAR-IVRI,Izatnagar), Award of Honour-2002 (ICAR-IVRI,Izatnagar) , Best Teacher Award 2003-2004 (ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar), PETCARE Award for Canine Excellence-2005 , Dr. C.M.Singh Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award-2020, VIPM Lifetime Achievement Award -2021 and an honour of ;Living Legend of Homeopathy -2023 ” (3rd Homeopathy Vijnana Sammelan, Ahmedabad) besides many other honors and awards .
