Egypt and Israel

Although negotiations between Egypt and Israel still rank as one of the main focal points of international attention, the agreements made at Camp David have already drastically altered their relationships and have shaken up the political and military balance of power in the region. Egypt and Israel: Prospects for a New Era, a special publication of the Georgetown University Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Center's Washington Quarterly, provides a dozen original articles analyzing these events and their implications.The volume is divided into three parts: first, the economic background; second, the economic opportunity in a new era; and third, political determinants of stability.
