Sampson Lee Blair is a Family Sociologist and Demographer at The State University of New York, Buffalo, USA. His research interests include parent-child relationships, mate selection, marriage, and fertility.Timothy J. Madigan is Associate Professor of Sociology at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, USA. He specializes in quantitative research on education and family and has fielded a series of state-wide social policy surveys. He has taught, researched and traveled extensively across China and Taiwan.
