Education Administrators

Based on interviews with eleven prominent education professionals, this work seeks public recognition of an often overlooked, yet vitally important, professional in the public school system: the school business administrator. The interviewees discuss the reasons they chose their profession, how they prepared for it, and their responsibilities behind the scenes of public education. Their thoughts about public education and the administrator's role in providing it reveal rare insight into managing the resources for the education of our nation's children.
