In the Middle Ages, the port of Cardiff stretched all the way from Chepstow to Gower. Peter Finch, archetypal Cardiffian, sets out to explore his heritage, walking the Welsh side of the Severn Estuary – reclaiming personal memories and discovering the lives of others.
