During her time in schools, she was fortunate to be involved with The Smallpiece Trust and work with a Kenyan based charity. For eight years, she has been a freelance tutor and visiting lecturer for the department of education at Buckingham University, travelling around Britain and Europe training and assessing trainee teachers.
