This book develops a path to decarbonization through a process of Green Market Transformation. Matisoff and Noonan assess the scope and impact of the green building movement, which is working towards decarbonizing a sector that accounts for more than a third of global carbon emissions. Daniel C. Matisoff is an associate professor of public policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Director of the Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management master's program. He publishes in the areas of the economics and policy of renewable energy, information disclosure programs, and corporate social responsibility. Douglas S. Noonan is the Paul H. O'Neill Professor of Public and Environmental Affairs at the O'Neill School at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. He is an economist who researches many topics, emphasizing the built environment and amenities affecting quality of life.
