"Wherever on Earth you're playing or reading, climbing, swimming, flying or sleeping... Listen! You'll hear the Earth's voices speaking."Following Tree Whispers and Water Songs, Mandy Ross is now listening to the many voices of the Earth, from the heights of colossal mountains and rich plains to the depths of sprawling roots and the vast seabed. These poems, lyrically illustrated by Katie Rewse, imagine all of the Earth's voices and amplify the messages they carry. From the creation and biodiversity of soil to the devastation of human interference and the memories buried deep beneath our feet, this book highlights the powerful yet turbulent relationship we have with our planet, while reminding us that Earth is a home for everyone and everything.
