Jenny Copper is the pen name of children's book author and editor Gemma Cooper, who has been creating stories ever since she could read and write. A keen fossil hunter, Gemma loves writing stories and discovering new ways to write about the world we live in. Her books are published internationally, with many titles becoming best-sellers and firm favourites on children's bookshelves. Awards as a book editor include the 2025 Trade Children's Trade 0-8 Years award for 'Magic Searchlight Seek & Find Ocean Animals', and in 2023, Gemma won the BookTrust Storytime Prize as author for, 'Can You Tickle a Tiger?'. Aided by her little rescue dog, Kika, Robin has been designing and illustrating bestselling children's books for more than ten years. In her spare time, Robin loves attending art and drawing classes, wild swimming and dreaming of an alternative reality in which she cleans up the streets of the south coast, UK as a crime-fighting superhero! Sam Rennocks graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2010 with a BA Hons in illustration. Since then, he has worked for clients including magazines, design agencies and the NHS. His work has featured in exhibitions including D&AD London, and he was winner of the Earl Richards Narrative Award.
