"Pie Corbett is a versatile poet. He is sensitive, but never sentimental. Some of the poems in 'Dragon Cat' are off the wall - some poems take the air in flights of fancy - some are fact-specific with their feet firmly on the ground. Whether Corbett takes us to witness the everyday, or leads us on a magical journey to find a star, the same, strong, confident voice is heard throughout."
