Part manifesto, part prayer/spell book, these dynamic, playful, provocative, and unapologetic poems pull no punches. These are distinctly first-gen Latiné working class poems—bus poems, smoke break poems, grief amulets, fight-me-in-the-street litanies, poems to keep it pushing against the woes and throes of empire and its many henchmen.
