Genesis lays the foundation for our faith and new understandings, in which this book abounds are very welcome. Though scholarly, it is readable at all levels and enjoyable in stimulation of thought. It would be a useful book for study and discussion in a small group. It is highly recommended for novice students, and those like myself who have spent years on the New Testament but perhaps neglected the awakening of God’s relationship with human kind.
