Given the vast existing literature, it is difficult to add new and valuable perspectives on the issue of inequality, but this excellent book manages to do so. Ferreira, Gisselquist and Tarp provide novel and highly relevant perspectives on the relation between inequality and well-being, governance and conflict, as well as a sensible discussion of what should and can be done. Readers will find a nuanced and balanced book with references to countries in various regions of the world. Well worth reading.
