In Digital Data Collection and Information Privacy Law, Mark Burdon argues for the reformulation of information privacy law to regulate new power consequences of ubiquitous data collection. Mark Burdon is Associate Professor of Law at Queensland University of Technology. His research interests include the regulation of information security practices, legislative frameworks for mandatory reporting of data breaches, and the onset of a 'sensor society'. Mark's most recent works focus on privacy issues arising from smart homes, particularly those involving domestic violence reporting and smart home insurance.
