Diego Marcon

Published on the occasion of the exhibitions at Lafayette Anticipations and at The Renaissance Society, this book brings together a wide range of materials central to the practice of Diego Marcon. It combines four films presented with visual documents from their making: props, costumes, set fragments, preparatory drawings, working images, models, and technical plans. Usually kept behind the scenes, these elements reveal the meticulous precision with which Marcon constructs his worlds.Conceived as an extension of the exhibitions, the publication operates as an archive, a working tool, and an autonomous object, offering insight into both the internal logic of Marcon’s practice and the material processes of his films.
