This book not only presents some of the actors and networks of church support for Nazi perpetrators after 1945, but also goes into explanations, justifications and self-justifications. The authors also take a critical look at clichés on how church history is perceived, such as how the Confessing Church is perceived by the public. An overall view of the complex topic rounds off the book at the beginning and end.
