Professor PrayagDutt; Juyal born on January 5th 1955 at Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, did his BVSC & AH, MVSC (1979) from G.B. Pant University of Agricultural and Technology, Pantnagar and Ph.D (1987) from CCS, HAU, Hisar.He served as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in Veterinary Parasitology at R.A.U, Pusa (Bihar), G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) and PAU/GADVASU, Ludhiana (Punjab). He was elevated to the position of Registrar, GADVASU, Ludhiana. He served GADVASU with retirement in 2015. Later in 2016, he become vice-chancellor of Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh). He has more than 200 publications including research, popular and technical papers in national and international Journal of repute. He has published 3 books and 5 practical manuals for PG and UG students respectively.He is life member and fellow of many national level scientific societies. He was former vice-president and ex-general Secretary of Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology. He is recipient of Dr. BV Rao Gold Medal and Dr. Alwar memorial award for best research paper published. He is editorial board member of Journal of Animal Science Research and Journal of Laboratory Physicians AIIMS, New Delhi. He visited Thailand, U.K. Japan and China for presentation of his research findings. He was foliated with Biored Honorary Fellowship, Krishi Bhushan Award and Samgra life time achievement award.Giridhari Das: born on November 155th, 1973 at Patrasayer, Bankura (West Bengal), did his B.V.Sc & A.H. from W.B.U.A.F.S. (Kolkata), and M.V.Sc and Ph.D (Veterinary Parasitology) form IVRI, Izatnagar, Bareilly. He has pub- lished more than 100 research and extension articles in reputed national and Internationals journals, five practical manuals for undergraduates students and nine practical manuals for postgraduate students. He is life member of many national scientific societies. He is recipient of Dr. V.S. Alwar Memorial Award for best research article published. Presently, he is serving as Director of In- struction and Controller of Examination and Professor and Head, Department of veterinary Parasitology, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur.
