Patrick Davey DM FRCP is a consultant cardiologist at Northampton General Hospital and former training program director General Medicine for the East Midlands. His subspecialty interests include nuclear cardiology and coronary intervention. He studied undergraduate medicine at Cambridge, clinical medicine at Oxford, undertook SHO jobs in Leicester, and then trained in cardiology at Papworth, and returned to Oxford for research, and as senior registrar and senior lecturer. He has been a consultant cardiologist at Northampton since 2000. He is the editor of a number of bestselling textbooks including Medicine at a Glance, ECG at a Glance, amongst others.David Sprigings qualified from Oxford University Medical School and trained in internal medicine and cardiology in Oxford and London. He was a consultant physician and cardiologist at Northampton General Hospital from 1993 to 2016. From 2017 he has been a locum consultant cardiologist at John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford. His interests include electronic diagnostic systems to support the generalist, value-based healthcare, and the integration of primary and secondary care in cardiology.
