Dr. Shahidul Islam, MD, Professor, PhD, Department of Biochemistry, University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is an expert in diabetes and has achieved a number of awards including the International Endocrine Society. He has over 30 years of research and teaching experience, has published in 20 international peer reviewed journals, is an “Editor-in-Chief” of the “World Journal of Diabetes”.
