Clarke is Professor Emerita of Sociology and History of Health Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco, USA.Juliet Corbin is a Senior Scientist at the International Institute of Qualitative Methodology, University of Alberta, Canada.Caroline Jane Porr is Associate Professor at the Memorial University of Newfoundland Faculty of Nursing, Canada.Phyllis Noerager Stern held faculty positions at California State University, Hayward, University of California, San Francisco, Northwestern State University and was Professor and Director of Dalhousie University School of Nursing in Halifax, Canada. She passed away in May 2014.
