Dennis, Harriett and Flynn live in different families

The ducklings Dennis, Harriett and Flynn have to leave their parents and be looked after by a different family - but they can't all stay together. They are worried about where they will live, who will make the decisions, and what their new families will be like. This story sensitively explores what it is like to be looked after by another family, ways of keeping in touch, and what will be best for each of the siblings. Simple text and an open story make this a flexible resource that can be used with children to explore moves, feeling at home in a new place, and keeping in touch with family members. The book is suitable for reading with children aged 3-5, who have had to move away from their family for a range of reasons. This is the fifth title in the Dennis Duckling series.
