Democracy and International Relations

HAZEL SMITH is a Reader in International Relations at the University of Warwick. She has been heavily involved with research, writing and political activity in and around Central America since the late 1980s and her first two books, Nicaragua: Self-Determination and Survival (1993) and European Union Foreign Policy and Central America (1995), were earlier products of this research trajectory.
