He is author of From Utopia to Apocalypse: Science Fiction and the Politics of Catastrophe and editor (with Marcus Bullock) of Aftermaths: Exile, Migration, and Diaspora Reconsidered.Merry Wiesner-Hanks is Distinguished Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
