Daido Moriyama: Blossom

A career-spanning collection of Daido Moriyama’s greatest photographs, presented at an unparalleled size designed to mirror the experience of looking through original prints. Stray dogs, stacks of canned goods and bustling streets: Daido Moriyama’s photographs capture the historic complexities of Japanese culture. A key player in the country’s avant-garde art scene in the late 1960s and 1970s, Moriyama’s stream of publications and exhibitions have established him as one of the greatest photographers of the last seventy years. Blossom places Moriyama’s most famous photographs side by side with deeper journeys into his archive to capture the full breadth of his output. Printed in tritone, these works are presented at an unparalleled size designed to mirror the experience of looking through original prints. Edited by Mark Holborn – and with the support of Moriyama himself – Blossom presents the very essence of what makes Moriyama such a pioneering photographer.
