Beskrivning
Celebrate the special bond between fathers and daughters with this silly picture book about a bedtime story gone awry.Bedtime is looming, and Sophie wants to hear a story. So she asks her dad-the best storyteller she knows-to tell her one. He's just started telling a story about a queen and a unicorn when-HOLD ON-this is not the story Sophie had envisioned! She interrupts to request a teeny, tiny change. And then she interrupts again, and again, and again, resulting in an entertaining game of storytelling ping pong as Sophie and Daddy work together to create an unforgettable tale. This beautifully illustrated book is a sweet tribute to daughters, their daddies, and the time they share together.

Kathleen Long Bostrom is a retired Presbyterian minister who has written dozens of books for children, including the award-winning Little Blessings series and a number of VeggieTales titles. Kathleen was awarded the David Steele Distinguished Writer Award in 2014, the most prestigious writer's award given by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She lives with her husband, Greg, in Carlsbad, California.Ela Smietanka is a Polish freelance illustrator. Her adventure with drawing started when she was a little girl. In order to make her dreams come true, she graduated from the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where she now lives with her husband, two sons, a cat named Zuzia, and some other cats from the neighborhood. In her work, she combines pencils, paints, and Photoshop, happily discovering again and again new digital techniques. She listens to audiobooks while illustrating, and with a good novel she may work until dawn. In her free time, she likes to cycle while listening to energetic music. If she were to choose a job other than an illustrator, she would be a dancer.
