Mehmet F. Bastug is an Associate Professor and Director of the Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity MS program in the Department of Crime, Justice, and Security at the University of Scranton. He earned his MS and PhD in Global Affairs from Rutgers University, and MA in International Relations from Akdeniz University. He also received a graduate certificate in Cybersecurity from Harvard University. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and a CEH Hall of Fame inductee. He has previously affiliated with University of Cincinnati, Lakehead University, and Ontario Tech University in research and teaching roles. He has published over 40 papers.
