David Cerdio-Domínguez graduated from Universidad Anáhuac México. He is a specialist in Health Management and Corporate Wellness, holding a Master's degree in Management and Administration of Health Institutions, a Master's in Pain Management, and a PhD in Applied Bioethics. He is a fervent promoter of medical humanism and the humanities as a means to acquire such competence.He serves as the General Secretary of the Mexican National Bioethics Academy and of the Doctor as a Humanist International Association. Additionally, he is the General Coordinator of the Anáhuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics, and an Associate Researcher at the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights (Rome) and at Universidad Anáhuac México.María Elizabeth de los Ríos Uriarte is a research professor in the Faculty of Law at Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. She is the editor in chief of "Medicina y Ética" scientific journal. She holds a degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México, a Master's degree in Bioethics from the Universidad Anáhuac México, and a PhD in Philosophy from the Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico City. She is a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico. She has published more than 30 articles in national and international indexed journals, more than 15 book chapters, and two books as main author and six as a co‑author.
