Cow’s Eye View

Temple Grandin is a sensation in agricultural reform, transforming our understanding of livestock behaviour and improving welfare for animals worldwide. Going back to the beginning, this book covers her early experiences and how she got started in animal welfare. Drawing from never-before-published diary entries, it reveals the thought processes and development of one of the world's premier welfare experts. From her non-agricultural background, we follow Temple through her first exposures to cattle during high school, then the opportunities and internships that led into starting her own consulting business designing cattle handling facilities. A useful read for anyone starting a career or new business in the agricultural or animal science fields, A Cow's Eye View is also a fascinating insight into one of our greatest living scientists.
