Karel Novotný is associate professor at the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Humanities, and permanent research fellow in the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. She has mainly published in the fields of phenomenology and gender studies, and she is the editor of the Journal Phänomenologie. Her recent book publication is Existenz – Differenz – Konstruktion.
