Before joining A*STAR, he was a Research Scientist at the Rolls-Royce Electrical, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 2016 to 2020 and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from 2015-2016. He received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna in 2015. He has published several research papers in reputed journals and conferences and has also been granted three patents for his research. Dr. Verma is also a senior member of international professional bodies, namely IEEE. Presently, he is working as a Tech-lead and PI/Co-PI on several research projects. His research interests include condition & health monitoring, signal processing, data analysis and machine learning.
