She holds a master's degree in nursing with a specialty in critical care, is a certified professional in healthcare quality and a certified change management practitioner.Katie McSheffrey Gunther, PhD, is an industrial-organizational psychologist specializing in the assessment and analysis of leadership and culture within military organizations. Her organization, the Air Force Profession of Arms Center of Excellence, assists unit commanders in implementing leadership development and culture interventions that tie Air Force Core Values to mission accomplishment.
