Connecting

Connecting: to this planet and Her inhabitants is a collection of short poems written and illustrated by Janet Baird. It covers a wide range of subject matter from Kakadu to Machu Pichu; cyclones to exploration; Indigenous mythology to music; archeology to social issues; astronomy to a cricket match. The poems are designed to stimulate further interest in the events and issues addressed. They may encourage readers to reminisce about their own personal experiences. The collection emphasizes the need for cooperation between everyone and everything sharing this special planet.
