Conflict and Transition in Syria

Abdullah al-Jabassini holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Kent. He is a CIVICA Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Central European University, Vienna. He was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute, Florence. Joseph Daher holds dual PhDs in Development Studies and Political Science. He has authored several books, including Syria After the Uprising. He teaches at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and the University of Ghent in Belgium, while also working with UN agencies, NGOs and research centers in consulting roles.
