He is also a chartered engineer (CEng) of the Engineering Council, UK, and a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK. He has diverse work experience including working with the manufacturing industry, software development for local and overseas clients and teaching production engineering, business, and computer science students. He has two books as the principal author by Springer, UK and CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group, USA. He remained the CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group, USA Book Series Editor until 2023.
