We discover that Wales gave us the most notorious pirate in Elizabethan times, John Callice of Tintern; Admiral Sir Henry Morgan, the greatest privateer of all time a century later; and the most successful pirate in history, Black Bart Roberts of Casnewydd Bach, whose death ended 'the Golden Age of Piracy'.
