Coherent Control in Atoms, Molecules, and Semiconductors

Coherent control of charge carrier dynamics has evolved into an interdisciplinary topic involving atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter physics, quantum optics, laser spectroscopy, and the physics of electronic devices. This is reflected by the contributions contained in this volume. Containing both review articles and results in the field in atomic, molecular, and semiconductor physics, it addresses experts and novices alike. All articles have been reviewed and emphasis has been given to clarity and a detailed list of references.
