Clinical Andrology

This practical text not only aids revision for FRCS (Urol) and FEBU exit exams, but summarises both theoretical and clinical aspects of Andrology. This sub-specialty is not well covered during undergraduate studies or postgraduate foundation and core surgical training. Even for specialty trainees, Andrology conditions are mostly referred to tertiary units and therefore not readily encountered by trainees who rotate mainly in district hospitals during most of their specialty placements. Key features include: · Basic Andrology sciences encompassing embryology, anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system (e.g. penis, testes). · Pathophysiology, aetiology, clinical presentation, investigation and management of Andrology conditions (e.g. erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory disorder, penile curvature, male factor infertility, priapism, penile fracture). This book enables trainees to visualise how Andrology patients are managed in an acute, elective and realistic way.
