Dr. Gagan Matta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology of Environmental Sciences at Gurukula Kangri University, India. His teaching and research area clearly aligned with Environmental Pollution and Toxicology, water quality, Ganga River, Environmental modeling and Limnology and Aquatic Ecology. Dr. Matta has 7 years of teaching and research experience, supervised 09 Master students and guiding three Ph.D. candidates. Dr. Matta has 4 international and 5 national collative research projects. Dr. Amit Kumar is a Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He obtained his M.Tech and PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and conducted his postdoctoral research at Hohai University, China. Dr. Kumar’s research spans the ecological health of aquatic habitats, water quality modeling, and water security practices to meet the Sustainable Development Goals. He has published five books, including Elsevier’s Climate Change in the Himalayas, and is an advisory board member for the Elsevier journal Ecological Indicators. Dr. Laura Gjyli is an Associate Professor at Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës University in Albania. From September 2021, she has been a member of the network of historic cities against plastic waste (HISCAP), as part of BIO-PLASTICS EUROPE. Dr. Gjyli is a member of the ParAqua project "Applications for zoosporic parasites in aquatic systems" (ParAqua) CA20125, representing "Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës University. She is the coordinator at UAMD of the projects: "Blue Circle" an EU-funded interrag project, where UAMD is an associate partner of the Durrës Regional Council, and "Environmental protection through integrated waste management in the Municipality of Durrës", where UAMD is a partner of Durres Municipality
