"A highly engaging and informative attempt to sustain theological reflection in a systematic sequence while also honoring very different contexts, including those of the readers. ... Christian Doctrines for Global Justice is an invitation to a theological journey where investigations are not for the faint of heart, nor for those whose reflections have no correlation to experience. ... this is an imaginative adventure that will birth ever-increasing circles of Christian doctrines for global justice." (Kendra Weddle Irons, Christian Feminism Today, eewc.com, April, 2016) "This volume not only gives us fresh and provocative renderings of Christian thought, but shows us why it matters to a world groaning for redemption. To hear the voices of women is, in fact, to hear the voice of the church, and in this volume we hear the voice of the church speaking clearly and relevantly." - Willie James Jennings, Duke Divinity School, USA "This creative book pushes the boundaries of theological tradition by placing gender justice at the center of doctrinal reconstruction. It is an invaluable resource for both beginners and more advanced learners in theology." - Kwok Pui-lan, Episcopal Divinity School, USA "This book is a tremendous introduction to where the many forms of feminist theologies are today and where Christian theology must move for the future." - Jeannine Hill Fletcher, Fordham University, USA "Daggers and Kim expand our sense of Christian doctrine by placing the deep symbols of Christian faith God, Christ, the Spirit, crucifixion, hope, and anthropology in dialogue with the wisdom and suffering of women." - Wendy Farley, Emory University, USA "The invaluable contributions of theology re-imagined are a powerful act of Christian doctrinal faithfulness in the truest sense of the Gospel: their words are the hopeful confidence in what is yet to be seen in the global reality of women, girls and our earth." - Teresa Delgado, Director, Peace and Justice Studies and Associate Professor of Religious Studies, Iona College, USA
