Whether it is read by the interested generalist or the dedicated specialist, Dawid Rogacz’ Chinese Philosophy of History yields a profusion of insights and confers a trove of benefits. However, in my view, chief among its rewards is that, through its concentration with laser-like focus exclusively on the philosophy of history, the book is a veritable showcase in which so many oftentimes neglected past philosophical voices have finally been permitted to come to the fore and thereby have their previously unknown contributions duly recognized.
