Dr. Kai LIU, a Ph.D. holder in World Economy from Xiamen University, is an Assistant Researcher at School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. Specializing in Southeast Asian economic research, particularly on Indonesia, he led 1 national-level and 3 provincial-level projects and contributed to 5 major national initiatives. As a recipient of the Darmasiswa Scholarship from the Indonesian government and the Sino-foreign Joint-training Ph.D. Scholarship from the China Scholarship Council, Dr. Liu has authored more than 10 papers in prestigious journals and presented at 4 international conferences, showcasing influential insights in media outlets such as the Global Times.
