Catherine Veitch followed up her English degree with a primary teaching certificate, where she often used stories as the starting points for lessons. With a passion for educating children in a fun, inspiring way, and oodles of ideas, Catherine started life working in children’s magazines as a writer before moving into book publishing as an editor/writer. She’s now a freelance children’s writer full time and writes early years fiction, non-fiction, puzzle, activity and phonics books, in addition to adapting classic tales.
