Giorgio Pennazza has participated and still participates in numerous national and international projects. He is the author of over 60 publications in journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. He has been teaching in this field for the past 8 years, and his main research interest is in sensors with biomedical applications. In 2012 Marco Santonico was a founding member of the company INNOSENSOR Ltd., founded as a spin-off of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata." INNOSENSOR is concerned with the research and development of sensory systems, bio-sensory and their electronic and chemical interfaces. He is the author of over 50 publications in journals, book chapters and proceedings of conferences. He is actively teaching in this field and his main research interest is the development and characterization of sensors and their electronic interfaces for biomedical applications. Alessandro Zompanti graduated from the University Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Rome, Italy, in 2010 and received the Ph.D. degree in Bio-Engineering and Bio-Sciences from the same University in 2017. Since 2021 he has been an assistant professor at University Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, joining the Research Unit of Electronics for Sensor Systems. His research activities are mainly focused on the design and development of electronic systems and electronic interfaces for sensors for medical and food applications. His is currently engaged in many industrial collaborations, oriented to the development of custom sensor-systems for specific applications. His main research activity is devoted to the study of the electronic circuits driving and interrogating capacitive, conductometric, acoustic and electrochemical sensors. His teaching activity is mainly held in laboratory sessions to introduce students to the comprehension on field of sensor working principles.
