Rodney Vaughan is senior research engineer at Industrial Research Limited, New Zealand. He has degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and gained his Ph.D. from Aalborg University, Denmark. Since then he has worked for Telecom NZ and Industrial Research Limited. For the latter he established research and development groups in signal processing and multipath communications. Applications include designs in antennas and signal processing, which have been used widely. In addition to his work on many industrial projects, his research includes topics in multipath, signal processing and multiport antennas, and he has published over 100 papers and conference contributions.Jørgen Bach Andersen is the director of the Center for PersonKommunikation and Professor of Wireless Communications at Aalborg University in Denmark. He gained his degree and Ph.D. from the Technical University of Denmark in 1961 and 1971 respectively. His research has focused on radio propagation, antennas and signal processing, as well as biomedical studies related to electromagnetic waves. He has been active in European cooperation with the COST framework for wireless communications and has served on several COST management committees. He has published over 200 papers and conference contributions, and contributed to nine books. A former vice president of URSE, and former chairman of URSI Commissions B and K, he is a Life Fellow of IEEE.
